Do you find the Metropole’s practices objectionable?

Now you can do something about it!

For many years residents have believed nothing existed to stop the hotel using St. Margarets Place as a car park and loading bay, until now! This year a planning order was unearthed placing limits on the hotel. Times of opening and closing and loading of vehicles inside the building were imposed.

The council themselves were not aware of this order until we told them. Now for the first time we can change things.

The council want to hear from residents about their complaints. You can write directly to the council, or sign the petition alongside or call Jo or John Clinton on the number below for further information.

Channel 4

Channel 4 needs your help.
If you’re available for about an hour one day in late September or early October Channel 4 would like to film a presenter and a game show contestant in your flat.

They say they don’t have much budget for compensation but you may be able to negotiate something. It would be great if we could facilitate this as they have selected this building as one of a few iconic symbols of Brighton, alongside the Pavillion & Palace pier.

I think they might prefer a C flat but anything high up will do. Email me tom@sussexheights.org or call 722805
